It’s easy to internalize those stresses and let them build until they almost feel overwhelming. How many times in life do we get stressed out about something going on? It might be an upcoming test, a relationship with a friend, or some peer pressure you face. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Prayer – Finally, write out a prayer and ask God to help you apply what he’s revealed to you. Write how what you’ve read applies to your life. What is it saying? What’s happening?Īpplication – Truth is powerless unless applied. Observation – Write what you think the scripture is saying. Scripture – Write out the scripture verse the Holy Spirit has highlighted to you. S.O.A.P stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer. Then turn the page to start your first entry.Īdd today’s date in the top left corner and let’s get move to step 4. Let the first page of your notebook be the ‘Content’ page.Īdd three columns: Date, Title and Scripture. Read Your Daily Scripturesįollow through on your Bible reading plan until the Holy Spirit highlights a scripture to you, you’ll notice a particular verse that stands out to you.
